About
Bio: Mark is an American living in France for over 30 years. He has been working for AXA Investment Managers for over 17 years in various roles within Operations and Client Service. Today, he is a Director within the company and heads the coordination of its Client Service teams globally. Over the years, Mark has witnessed how the company has made a sincere effort to improve the visibility and acceptance of the LGBT+ community.
Mark is an openly gay man within the organisation and believes in leading by example. He is known to recruit diverse talent who are the best fit to the role and the broader team. His teams globally have a makeup of roughly 55% female and 45% male.
In many cultures, sexuality is still a private matter, and it isn’t easy to come out. Mark left the USA 32 years ago in order to live his life freely, away from friends and family. Coming out in the corporate world was not that easy either, but things have progressed in 30 years.
