About
Bio: Julia is the CEO and Co-Founder of Streets Consulting, a globally focused business development, marketing and communications consultancy based in the UK. Since its launch in 2009, Julia and her team have advised a wide range of firms in the world of capital markets, B2B and payments, and offering specialist technology including blockchain, artificial intelligence, cyber security and more.
Prior to founding Streets Consulting in 2008, Julia was Global Head of Communications, serving on the Executive Committee at Atos Euronext Market Solutions - the technology arm of NYSE Euronext, and European head of marketing and sales development at Instinet.
Julia is a recognised leader in the fintech industry, often called upon to offer insight and opinion, found on stages and platforms every week, standing proudly as an LGBT+ role model. Julia has consistently leveraged her public profile to great effect but has also spearheaded a number of closed-door discussions with senior leaders and their teams, including The International Capital Markets Association, The Cabinet Office, The Sustainable Finance working group and some of the world’s leading financial institutions to improve DE&I.
More publicly, however, Julia is the founder & host of DiverCity Podcast (divercitypodcast.com), shining a light on positive progress, calling out areas requiring further focus and offering ideas to inspire change. Now in planning its 14th series, Julia has attracted listeners from 50+ countries around the world, it is named one of the world's most influential DE&I podcasts. This year, Julia is nominated for the OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Model Lists 2021, the 2021 Best Execution Women in Finance Awards and shortlisted for the Women in Finance Woman of the Year Award.
