About
Bio: Carlos is the Head of Trading Analytics and Market Structure at Brandes Investment Partners, based in the USA. He joined Brandes Investment Partners in 2001 and has held a range of roles across trading and business systems. In his current role, he is responsible for partnering with the Head Trader, brokers, and internal and external vendors to formulate and deliver technology and business solutions.
Carlos is the executive sponsor of Brandes Proud, a component of Brandes’ Citizenship Program as well as our DE&I efforts. In addition to Carlos, Brandes Proud is comprised of two Co-Sponsors (senior leaders and firm partners), and an Advisory Board representing a diverse mix of employees and business areas. The network focuses on LGBT+ topics at the intersection of diversity, equity, respect, and inclusion initiatives. The group welcomes ideas and best practice recommendations, those that are supported by research and industry adoption.
