Overview
In this awareness session, LGBT Great explores the conception of role models: the qualities and characteristics that make a role model. This is followed by research-backed insights on the importance of role models at work on motivation, confidence and identity affirmation.
Learning Outcomes for Attendees:
- Seeing is Believing: Gain insight into the inception and aims of LGBT Great’s 2023 report titled “Seeing is Believing”.
- Making a role model: Explore the qualities, characteristics and behaviours of a role model.
- Impact of role models: Understand the data-backed positive impact that role models have on underrepresented talent.
- A Blueprint: Discover a 10-step blueprint on role modelling in the workplace.
- Dedicated Q/A: A dedicated Q/A slot at the end of the session.
Length: 45-60 minutes
Format: Zoom/Teams Webinar, PowerPoint Presentation with live Q&A, chat and live polling. (In-Person sessions available on-demand)
