New for this year’s Pride! The LGBT Great Pride Role Models & Allies List recognises the incredible contributions of LGBTQ+ people and allies who are championing inclusion, belonging, visibility, and progress in the workplace. These individuals are inspiring others through their actions—driving real change in their workplaces, industries, and communities.
While LGBTQ+ visibility has grown in recent years, many still face systemic challenges and underrepresentation and all in uncertain times globally. The Pride Role Models & Allies List is a celebration of resilience and the powerful impact of those striving to uplift others and create lasting, positive change.
How the Pride Role Models & Allies are chosen
The 2025 list will spotlight individuals who have made a meaningful difference over the past year. You can nominate yourself, be nominated by a friend, colleague or your company and LGBT Great will also nominate people. In this new Pride list, we recognise those that;
- Are visible, authentic role models.
- Show strong allyship.
- Championing LGBTQ+ awareness, inclusion, and visibility in the workplace.
- Leading or supporting impactful initiatives or campaigns that advance LGBTQ+ workplace progression.
The list represents a diverse and authentic group of people committed to advancing inclusion and belonging for the LGBTQ+ community.
Key Milestones
- 28th April – 16th May 2025: Nomination period
- 16th May 2025: Nomination deadline
- 19th to 26th May 2025: Final confirmation of people and delivery of bespoke marketing materials, including profiles, videos, and social media assets
- 1st June 2025: Launch and celebration of Pride Role Models & Allies during Pride Month
