About
Bio: Tony joined Columbia Threadneedle Investments in May 2020 and is responsible for leading a team and collectively hiring top talent at all levels across the EMEA & APAC regions. Since May 2021 Tony has served as the Co-Chair of the EMEA PRIDE Business Resource Network.
He has spent the last 12 years of his career working for Financial Institutions and the past 9 years have been in the Asset Management Industry. Prior to joining Columbia Threadneedle, Tony worked at both Jupiter Asset Management and M&G Investments.
As someone who wasn't always 100% comfortable discussing his personal life or sexuality at work he now looks back and realises the amount of energy that was wasted trying to mask his authentic self.
Tony recognises that through being truly open at work, the benefits can be huge. He believes he has a responsibility to be a visible role model to encourage others to feel proud, safe and comfortable about being themselves.
He comments "As a strong believer in equality for all, I am encouraged to see the headway we have made as an industry in order to be more inclusive and diverse, but we still have a lot more work to do. I am excited to be part of this journey to make a meaningful and long-term difference".
