About

Bio: David was born and raised in Scotland, where he completed a degree in Business Studies at the University of Stirling. He then lived in Toronto for a year, before spending five years in London and then moving to New York, where he now lives with his partner, Matt. David joined Man Group in March 2020 as a Talent Programme Manager, where he supports the talent agenda for the firm in the US, including employee engagement. Prior to Man Group, David spent thirteen years at UBS in London and New York, working within human resources and talent development. David is passionate about helping people to develop, grow and be the best that they can be in their role.

Since joining Man Group, David has become a member of the firm's Drive (D&I) network. He has also been involved with diversity initiatives throughout his career including work with gender, LGBT+ and career returners. Looking ahead, he will be working to help build momentum for the LGBT+ employee resource group in the New York and Boston offices alongside UK, Europe and Asia. A key focus for David is engaging with allies to help increase awareness and visibility across the firm.

David comments: "I am honoured and proud to represent Man Group as a Project 1000 role model. I am a role model because I want to continue to raise awareness of the LGBT+ community, as well as the challenges that we continue to face, and educate others on how they can help. It's important to me that LGBT+ rights are represented, protected and promoted in a professional setting, and we all have a role to play in making this happen."
