About
Georgina Fogo is Chief Risk Officer at Janus Henderson Investors, a position she has held since joining the firm in 2018. She is responsible for the Global Risk and Compliance functions. Georgina reports to the CEO and is a member of the Executive Committee. She came to Janus Henderson from BlackRock, where she served in various roles since 2009, most recently as managing director and global chief compliance officer from 2015. Georgina received a BA degree in history and political science and an MA (Hons) in political science from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and has 23 years of financial industry experience.
Georgina is the Executive sponsor for the EMEA chapter of the LGBT+ employee network, Chair of the Janus Henderson Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, and a passionate supporter of diversity and inclusion. By being an ally and role model, she aims to highlight the benefits these bring to the business.
