Luke Williams (He/Him/His)
Relationship Manager and Advisory Consultant
Luke is a non-practising solicitor with a detailed knowledge of the diversity, equity and inclusion landscape within the legal sector. Luke read Law at Cambridge University, following which he undertook his training contract at a medium-sized firm specialising in property and private client work. He has also practised at NGA Law, the UK's first fertility law firm and a practice at the cutting edge of LGBT+ family building.
As a trans man who transitioned publicly at the start of his career, and one of few openly trans lawyers when he joined the profession, Luke has acted as a pioneer of organisational change and policy reform. He is Chair of the Law Society's LGBTQ+ Solicitors Network, representing the interests of LGBTQ+ solicitors within the profession, and was heavily involved in the drafting of the Network’s trans and non-binary inclusion materials.
Luke is responsible for forging relationships with new LGBT Great members and facilitating discussion and best practice sharing within the corporate member community.
